With butterflies in her stomach, supportive parents cheering in the crowd, and a strong sense of sportsmanship, Ruby Seefeldt was an excellent representative of our school. Ruby competed in High Jump at the School Sports Victoria State Athletics finals, where she achieved an incredible personal best of 142 cm, placing 4th overall, missing out on second place by 1 cm! ! What an amazing effort!
The Instrumental Concert (For students getting lessons with Matt and Chris) will be held in the Music Room, 25th November at 5:30pm.
The school band has been practicing hard and will be performing in next week's assembly. (pending weather)
Preps are working on rhythms and keyboard. They've been creating rhythms with Ta, Ti-Ti and Za and playing the notes on the keyboard. They are also learning to find CDE on the keyboard using the Double black notes on the keyboard to find D. They are using Dog Ears D, Double D, Spanish 2/ Dos D to help to find it.


























Grade 1-2 are working on keyboard. Looking at finding all the white notes / C Major scale notes CDEFGAB. They are using the musical alphabet to find the letters. They are also looking at Jingle Bells, Mary Had a Little Lamb and Golden, focusing on using the C position right hand fingers.


















Grade 3-4 are exploring BandLab multitrack recording. They are looking at building drum patterns to differeniate parts of a composition and editing recorded notes to tidy them up.








Grade 5-6 are recording notes using the Casio keyboards and editing any imperfections in BandLab. They are looking at moving the recorded MIDI notes and lengthening and shortening the notes. They are creating songs, podcasts or story books with sounds using the loops, their voices and MIDI keyboards.
