Principal Report
Mrs Deborah Crane
We have a Dog Policy that has been reviewed by our school council which backs our school's decision to look into us ' getting a dog for Welbeing and Engagement’. We believe that having a cuddly, loveable working dog at the school will further assist our students with de-escalation and help their emotional wellbeing.
Animals that are part of these wellbeing and engagement programs in schools are ‘working’ animals when they are at school, they are not pets. These animals and their handlers will have undertaken appropriate and accredited training before they can be allowed on school grounds. Dimi is currently investigating this for our school and we will keep you updated on our progress.
Not sure if you have noticed it or not... but there is a camera on Kent Road. Not sure of its exact purposes - but be cautious. I know that our school community is respectful and follow the safety precautions for our students at all times, so this is just reminder that when travelling on any of our surrounding roads to watch out for our children!
We have not had one complaint so far this half year from any of our school crossing supervisors, so keep up the great attention to safety.

It is important for me to articulate and express that we do strive for high expectations in everything!
Learning and Wellbeing.
As we come closer to the end of the year, it is important for us to ensure that our school is operating as normal and learning programs are still in place and so are our expectations around respectful behaviours.
We will be making phone calls to parents for students who continue to show disrespect towards their Teachers, Education Support Staff and fellow students. Please remember we have a duty of care for everyone and we ensure fairness and equitable standards for all.
