Le Français

Bonjour

Foundation students have worked on the nursery rhyme "Petit Escargot".

They listened to the rhyme and practised singing it with actions and correct French pronunciation. They completed a booklet to read and sing at home.

Grade 1 and 2 have been listening to a song called "Le robot dans mon château"

and worked towards remembering it with actions as they performed in pairs. They worked to create drawings of their own robot and castle next to the French lyrics. 

Grade 3 and 4 have been creating a poster on Coco Chanel.

They copied French phrases and translated them and used the internet to find some fabulous French designs about this famous French designer. They also recorded some of the French phrases on Seesaw to demonstrate their French pronunciation.

Grade 5 and 6 have been revising numbers and learning expressions of time. 

They have worked on analog clocks and Languagenut activities to hone their skills in telling the time and remembering numbers.

I will be on leave from November 4-19.
