SWPBS Update
Congratulations to all the students who received certificates at assembly last week. Well done on demonstrating all our school values!
SWPBS Essential Feature 7: Ongoing Monitoring
For the final instalment of our SWPBS essential features… 7: Ongoing Monitoring
We collect, analyse and act on a range of data to help us monitor and improve SWPBS at NPS. That data includes, for example: records of positive acknowledgements and inappropriate behaviour incidents, teacher peer observation, classroom and yard observations and student/staff/family surveys. This data highlights gaps or opportunities we may need to address with reteaching, new teaching or adjustments of processes. For example, about twice per term, the teachers analyse behaviour incident data to see any patterns and plan proactive prevention strategies.
SWPBS Family Survey
Speaking of ongoing monitoring…please could you fill out our end of year SWPBS Annual Parent/Carer Survey? It won't take too many clicks, and will help us to take into account your views as we plan for how we support student behaviour in 2026. We're currently conducting student and staff surveys too. Thanks in advance!

This week: Online Safety - Part 2
Continuing with the theme of Online Safety this week, after the data we received last term from our students showing they feel nervous about the online world, but safer when their parents are involved and available for support. You can check that data out in last week's newsletter if you missed it.
