Celebration Spot

Each week we love to celebrate any students who may have achieved something significant during sporting events, dancing, baptisms, theatre, music achievements etc. both inside school and outside school.

Please email reception@dcs.tas.edu.au with the details (we would love a photo too!) so we can celebrate together as a community.

Inter High Swimming Carnival

On Wednesday 26th March, a group of secondary students attended the Inter High Swimming Carnival at Splash Aquatic Centre. Well done to the following students who were invited to participate:

Chad, Nikola, Sophie, Avé, Grace, Payton

Special congratulations to Harper and Alfie, who were champions in their division and Grace who was runner up in her division.

Tennis Schools Gala Day

On Saturday, the Devonport Tennis Club held a Tennis Schools Gala Day. Students from DCS and along the North West Coast participated and had a wonderful day learning new skills, making friends and being a good sport.

Congratulations to all our students who participated, and a special congratulations to Banjo (Yr 6), who was awarded the medal for Boys Champion.

New Baby

It is with great excitement that we welcome a new member to the DCS Community.  Congratulations to Louis (Prep) and Hudson (Kinder) and their family on the safe arrival of your new daughter and baby sister!
