We have been very busy heading towards the end of term. In maths, we have been focusing on practising different strategies to solve Multiplication and Division problems and calculating time duration and converting between 12 and 24 hours. The role of Literacy Luminary in Literacy Circles and identifying the Author's Purpose have been the focus during Reading sessions. Writing has centred on using persuasive language to write  narratives and include strong descriptive, figurative language to describe a landscape. Students particularly enjoyed creating their own version of the picture story book "Don't let the pigeon drive the bus!"

Thank you to the parents who were able to attend Parent Teacher Conferences over the last few weeks. It was a great opportunity to touch base before heading into the final week of term.

Students celebrated Harmony Week, dressing up in a touch of Orange on Friday 21st March. The 2025 theme, "Harmony – We All Have a Role to Play!", reminds us of the importance of working together. It was fantastic watching the Year 6 students guide a Harmony activity in each classroom to celebrate how we work together to make sure everyone feels welcome and valued at school.

On Tuesday 25th of March, students from Year 4, 5 and 6 participated in Interschool Sports at Koo Wee Rup Primary School. We played basketball, cricket, tennis and volleyball. The Basketball Team A made it through to the semi-finals, as did the Tennis and Volleyball teams.  It was a great day which everyone enjoyed!

On Wednesday, March 26th, we wore a touch of purple to raise awareness for epilepsy. Epilepsy is a medical condition that affects the brain and can cause seizures. We are raising Epilepsy awareness to promote understanding and support for those living with the condition.

Congratulations to our Student Achievers
