Foundation - Spotlight on Learning

Hi Families,

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your exceptional efforts and support throughout Term One. Your contributions have played a significant role in ensuring a positive and successful experience for all the Foundation students. We are pleased to mention that each student has experienced a smooth transition and has successfully settled into the Foundation community.

The following will be our learning for Week One in Term Two,

Religious Education Focus

During the first week of term two, we will be learning about Easter and Anzac Day.

English Focus

We will continue to learn Stage 2 sounds, ' n' and 'o'. We will be building words using these sounds, such as not, hot, ant, etc. We will continue to read words with Stage 1 and Stage 2 sounds. Please check the reading pouch for the sound sheet every Monday.

Mathematics Focus

We are learning to improve our counting skills from 0 to 20.

Auslan Focus

Our Auslan focus is on the directions we follow at school.

Reminders

No toys, stickers or pencil cases at school please. Students have everything they require for fun and learning supplied at school! If toys, stickers or other items are brought from home, teachers will remove the item and return it at the end of the day.
