Cross Country Recap

Congratulations to everyone in Grade 3-6 who participated in the STAPS Cross Country last week! It was so heartwarming to see and HEAR the students cheering for each other - well done!

Thank you to the parents and supporters who came along on what was an unusually hot March day. We are looking forward to announcing the team that will represent St Thomas at the District Cross Country on May 9th soon. District Cross Country will be held at Casey Fields.

Junior School Recap

Our F-2 students have had a fantastic term developing their gross motor skills! Each week, they've engaged in fun games, small group activities, and partner challenges, building their coordination and confidence. To cap off the term, we've had a blast with parachute games, which have highlighted the students' remarkable teamwork and cooperation. It's been wonderful to see their skills and friendships grow!

Grade 6 Interschool Sport Recap

On Wednesday our fantastic Year 6 students represented our school with pride and enthusiasm at the Cranbourne Catholic Schools Interschool Sports competition, hosted brilliantly by St Peter's College. It was a day filled with spirited competition, teamwork, and plenty of exciting moments across a range of sports.

Our two Touch Rugby teams showcased great effort and determination throughout the day. Both teams displayed fantastic sportsmanship and never gave up.. Well done to all the players for their hard work!

Our Netball teams were a force to be reckoned with on the court! All three teams played exceptionally well, demonstrating impressive skills and teamwork. A special congratulations to one of our Netball teams who had an outstanding day, going through the entire competition undefeated and ultimately winning the final! Their teamwork and skill was outstanding.

In Newcombe, both of our teams displayed excellent court awareness and teamwork, successfully navigating their way through the pool stages to reach the semi-finals. This was a fantastic achievement, and we commend their efforts.

Our Soccer teams also put on strong performances throughout the day. Both teams played with great passion and skill, with one of our teams making an incredible run all the way to the grand final. In a tightly contested match, they narrowly missed out on the win, losing a close final 2-1. Their determination and effort were truly commendable.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to the staff and students of St Peter's College for their outstanding organisation and officiating of the Interschool Sports competition. The day ran smoothly, and their support ensured a positive and enjoyable experience for all participating schools.

Congratulations to all our Year 6 students, your effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork made us incredibly proud!

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday, and a blessed Easter!
