As part of the Year 3 and 4 inquiry into indiginous cultures in Australia, the students Identified who our Indigenous people in Australia are and where they live and have lived. Learn about the traditional lifestyle of our indigenous people, including their homes, and understand why these people moved around in their traditional way of life.
They created small models of historical indigenous houses, and ancient hunting weapons and traps. Here are some of their wonderful creations and work
Last week was Harmony Week and our students learnt a lot about the many cultures that make up Australia. We all belong!
All our grades have been learning about Lent the last few weeks. They have been reading stories and reflecting on what it means to be on a 'Lenten Journey'.
If at any time you would like to chat about the learning at Trinity, or you have any questions or concerns about your child's learning, please do not hesitate to see your child's teacher Ms Hele or myself.
