Principal's News

Dear Familes and Friends,

Thankyou all again for another great week of learning and fun at Trinity. Our Year 3 to Year 6 students have had a great week of swimming lessons and the weather has been extremely kind to us throughout. Fingers crossed and a few prayers that this continues next week.

A reminder that school will conclude on Friday next week at 1:45pm and our whole school assembly will be held in the MPR from 1pm.  As Easter this year falls in the last week of the school holidays students will return on Tuesday 22nd March. In next week's newsletter we will share an outline of all important dates for Term 2 as there are still one or two things to finalize.

Parents & Friends

Thankyou to our P&F members for all their efforts this term especially in the lead up to our school fete and our Easter raffle which will be drawn after the holidays. Next term there will no doubt be other whole school celebrations including our Mother's Day Breakfast and Stall. We will be needing volunteers to help organize and run these events and would love to hear from those parents willing and able to take on some of these responsibilities. Mr Ru or myself are very happy to chat with anyone who would like to know more about the Parents and Friends Group.

AAP & SIP

Each year our staff construct an Annual Action Plan (AAP) based on the School Improvement Plan (SIP) which was developed from our whole school review last year. The SIP is a four year document aimed at school improvement in a number of differnt areas. This year's AAP will drive much of the improvement work we will do together in the area of student learning and wellbeing. Of course there are many other areas we will work on together to improve our school, maintain and increase enrolments and of course ensure that we are able to provide the best learning environment possible for our children.

Uniforms - and Second hand

A big thankyou to our parents and children as there has been a great improvement in the correct wearing of our school uniform.  There is still some work to do and teachers will be reminding their classes if or when children may forget. Hats will still need to be worn next week so a reminder to our children to have these each day.

Sales of second hand uniforms will take place as stocks increase and so if your child has any items of our new school uniform that they no longer wear we would greatly appreciate these being donated so that other families may purchase them.

Easter Raffle - Donations Wanted

With Easter approaching we would once again like to call for donations for our Easter Raffle. We will begin collecting Easter Eggs and Chocolates which can be dropped off at the office or sent with your child. As this year's Easter Sunday will be on  April 20th, in the last week of school holidays, we will wait until children return to school and hold our raffle on Thursday 24th April at a whole school prayer celebration.  This means we have the final two weeks of school to collect donations and the first two days of Term 2.  Thanks in advance for your generosity.

Trinity’s new Little Street Library

Have you used our new Little Library yet? It is out the front of our school, just to the side of the office. Please come and visit and take a book home to enjoy. If you have any spare books to give, please just put them inside. Only children’s books, please.

Enjoy! A special thankyou to Ms Belinda for organizing the street library and Ms Sally for the amazing artwork in decorating it.
