Principal's Message

Mrs Kaileen Carr

GRIP Leadership - On Wednesday, our school leaders attended the GRIP Student Leadership Conference. The conference concentrated specifically on training students for their role as a school leader. The style, topics, and content of this conference all focused on what the students can do right now. The goal is for student leaders to leave the conference with a clear vision, a solid understanding and dozens of ideas for their time as a leader. Thank you to Mrs Taylor for supporting our future leaders.

Reminders:

  • Please make sure you are waiting for students  in the Kinder Playground each afternoon.
  • Please ensure you use the pedestrian crossing at drop off and pick up. It is extremely busy at the front of the school at these times and we need to ensure the safety of all students.
  • Remember that School Zones are in place from 8:00am-9:30am and 2:30pm - 4:00pm each school day.
  • Bus bay times are 8:00am to 4:00pm school days

Last week we said goodbye to Gavan Wickes (General Assistant). Gavan worked at Eglinton for 6 years  maintaining our school. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours. We are currently advertising for a new General Assistant. In the meantime Barry Thorn will work on Wednesdays and Fridays.

At Eglinton we strive to ensure that all teachers, students, parents and community members treat each other with dignity and respect. This is inclusive of drop off and pick up times.
