Enrichment Programs launch

Enrichment Wrap Up – Term 1

Term 1 of Enrichment has officially come to an end! It has been fantastic to see students engaging, learning new skills, and connecting with peers. From Pottery and Gardening to Basketball, the term has been full of energy, creativity, and enthusiasm. A huge well done to everyone who made it such a success!

We’ve heard so many great stories of students stepping out of their comfort zones, trying new things, and forming new friendships. Families have also shared how excited their students have been to participate in Enrichment. Here’s what some of our students and staff had to say:

“It’s the best class I’ve ever been in. Cooking with my classmates has never made me so happy and excited to come to school!” – Year 9 student, Taste of a Continent Senior program

“I feel like a kid again!” – Mr Burden, Dragon Slayer’s Guild Junior program

Full Steam Ahead for Term 2!

We have an exciting line up of new programs next term, including Tie-Dye, Auslan, First Aid, Crochet, AFL, and more! Students submitted their preferences in Week 7, and we’ve been working hard to allocate them accordingly.

Next term, Enrichment will run for seven weeks - two weeks longer than this term - giving students even more time to enjoy their programs.

Here’s what’s coming up:

Week 1: ANZAC Assembly

Week 2: Enrichment Set-Up Assembly

Weeks 3–9: Seven weeks of Enrichment program delivery

Week 10: Term 3 Preferences & Rewards and Recognition Assembly

Week 11: NAIDOC Assembly

Each term, we aim to make Enrichment even better, and we can’t wait to see what Term 2 brings! Until then, we hope everyone enjoys their break, and we’ll see you next term!
