Welcome back to Term 2!

This term the Preps received a new writing book with lines. They have loved learning how to write a simple sentence which includes a noun (name) and a verb (doing word), eg "The boy is running." Our goal was to complete 5 star sentences with a:

• Capital letter
• finger space
• full stop
• neat letter formation
• re-read / does it make sense

We have also been learning the Alphabet names and capital letters. We have been doing many fun activities around the alphabet, including making a class movie titled "The Prep ABC Rap". We can't wait to share it with you!

In Maths we have been focused on learning the Tricky Teen numbers as well as exploring the language of position and movement.
