In the spirit of global exploration and cultural discovery, our children are embarking on an exciting journey over the next two weeks as they immerse themselves in the diverse cultures of the world. This adventure takes them into the realms of food, clothing, and language, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of our global community.
Each of our five groups has young leader to take charge, and together, they've organised the group to engage in the activity. Using a collection of vibrant pictures displayed on a table, the children are matching various items to their respective cultures. This initiative has allowed us to witness remarkable displays of leadership within the groups, as they collaborate with their peers and inspire others to participate. It's heart-warming to see these qualities emerging in our children.
Additionally, the students are actively contributing to our learning space window displays. Their enthusiasm for this not only adds beauty to our learning environment but also instils a sense of agency in our young learners, fostering a deeper connection to their space.
To brighten up a dreary weather day, we treated the children to a special electronics afternoon filled with fun and entertainment. Although the weather might not have been on our side, the smiles on the children's faces surely brightened our day.
As we journey through the rich tapestry of cultures, we're excited to share this experience with your family and look forward to the coming weeks of discovery and growth.
