WORLD TEACHERS' DAY

Today, as part of World Teachers' Day QLD, we acknowledged and celebrated the contributions made by all staff within the St Mary's Catholic College community, with a lovely morning tea, generously donated by Family Connect.

We thank Family Connect for recognising this important day.

VINNIES CHRISTMAS APPEAL

Please be reminded that pantry items are requested for the Vinnies Christmas Appeal.

So far we have filled 9 out of 146 baskets. Please add an item to your shopping list and donate it to the appeal.

On Tuesday, 31 October students are encouraged to donate a gold coin, and participate in SMCC's 'Odd Socks Day' and 'Hula-Hoop Challenge,' raising money for Vinnies Christmas Appeal.

The House that raises the highest sum of money will secure a competitive edge in the race for the Mary's Message Cup and Prize.

Students are to wear their sports uniform and odd socks for the day, and will compete in the Hula-Hoop Challenge during P2 House Assembly.
