BUSY BEE
A big round of applause to all who helped at the recent Working Bee, Sunday 29th of October. The ground are looking better than ever and we had an encouraging number of volunteers rally on the day. Many hands made for light work! Thanks again to everyone who donated their time and tools.
END OF YEAR CONCERTS:
NB: The concerts will begin at the times listed, so plan to arrive 10 minutes prior.
We also ask a maximum of 3 attendees per family including siblings. This is for safety reasons etc.
If you are bringing young children please ensure they are supervised at all times as our environment is not set up for children under 3 year old.
Livcare will run as normal after these
FINAL GROUP SESSIONS:
AGM: Tuesday the 21st November.
Date: Tuesday 21 November
Time: 7pm drinks and nibbles for a 7.30pm start
Venue: Livingston Kindergarten
The Livingston annual general meeting will be held at the kindergarten, and is an important evening where we introduce the teachers, give an overview of our kindergarten and teaching philosophy, present the 2023 reports and elect the Livingston committee for 2024.
It's a great opportunity to meet our wonderful staff and other members of the kindergarten community. As a not-for-profit association, managed by a parent/carer committee, we ask that families consider supporting our organisation by occupying a committee position in 2024.
More information on the roles available to come.
SMILING MIND - FUNDRAISER
This November, Livingston's Bishop Family are raising funds to help support children with mental health issues. The Bishops have registered for Walk for Kids' Mental Health, a month-long challenge to raise vital funds for Smiling Mind and they need community support. During November Frankie , Alfie & Emily will walk 21 minutes per day to raise funds to ensure all Aussie kids have the tools and resources they need to thrive.
To support their challenge you can donate to their fundraising page -
https://www.walkforkidsmentalhealth.org.au/fundraisers/emilybishop
Together with the community's support, Smiling Mind can provide evidence-backed tools and resources for parents and teachers and help Aussie kids build their mental fitness with an aim to help create generational change in the mental health of all Australians.
