Director's Report, Term 4 2023

With the end of the year approaching, I would like to thank all our families for their ongoing support throughout 2023. 

As a community managed kindergarten, we rely on the involvement and participation of parents and families to ensure the successful operation of our fantastic kindergarten. 

Whether through stay and play, laundry duty or supporting our fundraising activities and working bees, we appreciate all that the Livingston families have contributed this year.

Thank you to the 2023 Committee for volunteering their time to run our kindergarten, particularly our president Rachel. You have done an extraordinary job for 4 years and your dedication is greatly appreciated. Along with our bookkeeper, Kat, Livingston Kindergarten has been in good hands!

AGM: Our annual general meeting will be held on Tuesday the 21st November where the Livingston committee for 2024 will be formally elected. There are a few roles still vacant if anyone returning in 2024 is interested…….

Staffing: Throughout 2023, staffing the kinder has sometimes been difficult due to staff illness, long service leave, parental leave etc and we have therefore had lots of new relief staff in at the kinder. I would like to thank our amazing team of teachers and educators for their understanding, patience and flexibility throughout the year. The staff make Livingston such a welcoming place and we are fortunate to have such a consistent and dedicated team. Also, a big thank you to our regular relievers who have worked when available and have enabled the kinder to stay open.
