He beat his PBs in both races! (The winners in both these events broke the state records so the running was fast).

Grade 2 Sleepover

Ken and Daniel (2C):

We watched a movie called Chicken Run and we drank some milo in the staff room.

There are these chickens in a cage and there were two bad guys and one chicken wasn’t laying eggs for one week and her head was chopped off.

The best things at the sleep over were the movie, the milo and sleeping. We slept on the floor of 1B and it was hard to sleep because people were talking. It was a very good experience.

Isabel and Sofia (2P):

We were sleeping buddies. We planned some mischief for the next day. We talked through the night because we could barely sleep. A friend of ours was snoring.

We loved the milo and the movie. The sleeping was nice but we weren’t really sleeping. We liked going down the hall because the lights turned on automatically and we could see people in the other classrooms sleeping.

We learnt that it is important not to be silly and noisy when other people are sleeping. We also learnt that it can be a lot of fun.
