Year 10 Triathlon
On a beautiful sunny day on Wednesday 18 October, the Year 10 students went into town to complete the annual triathlon. Students were able to compete individually or in teams, using some of the wonderful facilities and areas Bendigo has to offer. The ride leg was held at the Tom Flood Velodrome with the students completing 10 laps, handing over to the run leg down and around Rosalind Park, before culminating with the swim leg at the Faith Leech Aquatic Centre.
The students and PE staff had a wonderful day sharing in a great challenge and enjoyed the overall experience of being physically active. Thank you to the PE Department for organising and coordinating the day, to Mrs Tunzi for collating the results and organising the shields and prizes, and to our Year 10 cohort for getting involved in a fantastic day on our school calendar.
