INTERSCHOOL GOLF COMPETITION

YEAR 5 GOLF - By Tyler

On Wednesday the 11th October, four of our Grade Five students headed off to Mt Xavier Golf Course. The four boys got to show off their skills as they competed in a nine hole Golf Tournament against the surrounding schools of Ballarat. It was a fantastic day sent with lots of laughs and beautiful sunshine. A big thank you to those who came and shared their supports for our golf stars Jace, Hamish, Zach and Blake.

YEAR 6 GOLF - By Ellie Byers

On Wednesday, the 18th October, fourteen Year 6 students headed off to Mt Xavier Golf Course. We had 2 All Boys Teams, 1 Mixed Team and 1 Girls Team. We played 9 holes in the beautiful sunshine. We would all like to say a big thank you to Mr C for taking us, Katherine for organising us to attend this incredible event and all of the wonderful parents who assisted on the day and came to support us.

TRACK AND FIELD STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

We would like to wish Airlie F, Jet K and Mia G the very best of luck when they compete in the State Track and Field Championships in Melbourne next Wednesday, November 1. This is an amazing achievement to have progressed to this level in athletics. Good luck!

EUREKA CRICKET COMPETITION

Next Wednesday Miners Rest are competing in the Eureka Cricket Competition at CE Brown Reserve. We wish Mr Hill, Alyson M and the following students the very best of luck.
