Dear Sacred Heart Community
Prayer
Dear Lord,
Make me an instrument of your peace: where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.
Amen
School Concert - "Sacred Heart's Greatest Show"
"They say a picture is worth a thousand words." The above photo of our Year Five student Roery rehearsing for our concert, encapsulates the very reason involvement in a whole school concert is such an invaluable experience for all students.
Ticket Sales
An incredible $2,119.95 worth of tickets were sold for the performance. We thank you for your support. This money will be used to offset some of the costs of the concert (eg: hire of venue, lighting, sound, etc.)
Concert Recording
On the night of the concert, Marty mentioned that one of his former players at the Preston Bullants Football Club, Angus Green was very kindly offering his services at no charge to record the show. Thanks to Angus, a copy of the concert can be found on the link below.

Swimming Program
We have been able to secure a booking for our Foundation to Year Four students swimming program at the newly built Northcote Swimming and Aquatic Centre for four sessions beginning Tuesday 21st November through to Friday 24th November.
More details about the actual lessons times will be sent home next week. As in previous years, we will be seeking the assistance of mums and dads with a working with children check to help at the pool.
Today's Assembly - Good Samaritan Award Recipients
A big thank you to our Year Foundation and Year One/Two students for leading us at our assembly today. Congratulations to our Good Samaritan Award recipients acknowledged at our assembly.

Parents and Friend's News
President Position Open For 2024
After three years at the helm of our Parents and Friend's Group, Jodi is taking a break from the president position. I would like to thank Jodi for all her work rejuvenating the group after the challenges the COVID period presented. During Jodi's presidency, we have had a number of social events and fund raising initiatives. Thank you so much Jodi.
The position of president is now advertised. The role requires a person who is passionate about helping build the Sacred Heart community. The group is a very friendly one always willing to be involved in the life of the school. If you are interested in taking on the role please see me. If interest allows, we may be able to appoint a vice president to help share the load.
