Hello Foundation Families,
This week in Foundation students explored making and writing numbers. We played different Maths games to build fluency and practised writing our numbers to 9.
In English, students identified the favourite part of their story that we read as a whole class. We read Jeremy, Leo The Littlest Seahorse and No Goat Zone and learnt the letters j, l, m, n, k! In the story Jeremy, students predicted where they think Jeremy may have gone when he flew away from the house that helped raise him.
Check out some of FT's responses!
Beau- I think Jeremy flew to another nest
Freddy- Jeremy flew to my house
Soren- Jeremy flew to see the birds on the wire
Sadie- Jeremy went to the beach
Olivia- Jeremy flew to school
We also watched a very funny video called "Birds On the Wire". And made our very own birds on a wire!
