Leadership Centre

Highlight

Salamat siang,

Wow, another action-packed week in the Leadership Centre has flown by!

We have begun to investigate and explore time and its related concepts. Early in the week, we began by investigating different time vocabulary, different ways of showing and telling the time, elapsed time, and 24 hour time. Later in the week we spent some time reading and creating different types of timetables. A highlight was creating timetables for camp. It was very exciting to see all of the different activities that were planned and the amount of time allocated for each.

In English we spent some time creating scripts for the up-and-coming three-way conferences for which students are very excited to share. A highlight was seeing the pieces of work that students are most proud of from over the term. Later in the week students continued to make their ‘Our Place’ page and draft their writing. During our Guided Inquiry sessions, we even started to craft illustrations to go with our pages which was lots of fun.

Have a restful weekend,

The Leadership Centre Teachers
