We have been working on reorganising the office and our sports equipment area. Children have been amazing taking responsibility sorting out unwanted things and cleaning up the area. Our reward chart is working really well in motivating and encouraging children to take ownership of the program not limited to being food serving leader, dishwasher monitor, group time leader, engaging in getting hold of our Adventure Box but much more.
Friday Fundays:
Our Fun Fridays are back starting this week with the celebration of International Women's Day followed by St Patrick's Day celebration next Friday. Reminder to book in your child/ren if they want to be part of our Fun Fridays.
The Autumn Holiday Program for MOUNT PLEASANT ROAD VIC OSHCLUB is now available.

Being SunSmart
As the weather warms up, our afternoon program begins to move outdoors more often. As school hats generally need to be kept in classroom tubs, please make sure your child has a spare sun smart hat for OSHClub in their school bag. We have Cancer Council and Coles sunscreen on hand but children are welcome to bring their own if they wish. Hats and sunscreen will be worn when the UV rating is at 3 or above.
Drop off/Pick up
Parents/ guardians are required to sign children in for Rise and Shine sessions and sign children out of Stay and Play sessions using the service iPad. Please ensure you are coming to the room when dropping your children to Rise then Shine or holiday program. Please do not let them walk by themselves.
Enrolling Your Child

Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned.
In line with industry standards, we will also modify two fee conditions from Term 1, 2024
as follows:
Non-notified absence fee for Stay and Play session
The service must be notified by text message or via the parent portal) if your child will not be attending an afternoon session. Failure to provide notice will mean the service delivery team cease other duties until your child is located or accounted for and may result in a call to emergency services. If the service is not notified of your child’s absence prior to the Stay and Play session start time a $20 fee will be charged to your account.
Late pick up fee If your child is not picked up before the official closing time of the service, a $20 per 15-minute fee will be automatically applied to your account. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur and are available to discuss payment options and provide concessions where possible.
