Swimming Carnival

Fun from start to finish

WHAT an incredible Interhouse Swimming Carnival we had last week at Claremont Aquatics Centre. Carnivals bring our school community together and it was great to have so many parents present.

Many thanks to our Student Guild for their willingness to assist in the set-up and organisation of the carnival and to the St George’s Staff who pull on their PE hats for the day. St George’s has many powerful swimmers who dedicate hours of training while the rest of us are still tucked-up in bed! We saw many streamlined swimmers move through the water with little turbulence, performing their strokes with exceptional technique.

Synch Swim

Synch Swim was outstanding this year and congratulations to Mandela who continued their winning streak with their choreography and synchronisation, taking out the Sync Swim Cup along with the new House Spirit Shield.

Gandhi House were clear winners of the Interhouse Swimming Shield and should feel proud of their participation level in the pool.

Well done to all houses however on their positive house spirit and participation.
