Vale Edward 'Ted' Thornberry 

Mr Thornberry, or Ted as he was known to us was a general assistant at Anson Street School from 2011 until May 2017. He had a clever mind and was brilliant at fixing things around the school, especially anything mechanical. 

Ted was a true gentleman and even after he retired he visited the school regularly to catch up with the General Assitant Team. He attended the Team's Christmas thank-you party at Groundstone and most recently he attended the dedication to the hall for Toot Keegan. 

Ted will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Sending our thoughts and love to Norma his wife, Michael, Kellie and Sarah. May he rest in peace.
