SCC's Welcome BBQ and Dedication Service

Our College community enjoyed a wonderful time last Thursday, getting to know one another over a barbeque dinner, followed by our Dedication Service. Thank you to those who were able to join us on this special and important event on our school calendar each year.

2024 College Camps

Connections Café Canteen

To celebrate World Pizza Day, this Friday 16 February, the Connections Canteen is selling mini pizzas with ham/pineapple options, icy-poles, and a choice of juice boxes.

Ordering lunch is through the Qkr! app, and the cutoff time for ordering is 6pm tonight, Wednesday 14 February. See the Canteen page of this newsletter for all the details.

For parents and student who use the Wisby Bus Service - Please see the important letter below:

Midford Uniform Shop

SCC Uniform Shop cannot accept cash from students for uniform items.

Options: Either phone and pay Jo over the phone by card or complete an online order.

Orders come directly to Jo at the shop and are packed as soon as the shop opens.

PE Uniform Days

From time to time a class may be requested to wear PE uniform for a specific event or class subject. Parents/students will be informed of this at the time.

2024 SCC Information Handbook (Repeat)

The 2024 SCC Information Handbook was posted to school families in January. This includes information about classes, teachers, key school dates, uniform, and contacts for the 2024 year.

School Fees (Repeat)

School fees for Term 1 were emailed last week. If you have not received the invoice please email accounts@scc.tas.edu.au.

An Early Payment Discount of 5.5% is available for those parents who would like to pay their annual fees in Term 1. This is for students in Prep to Year 12. Please email Accounts to request this.

If you have any questions on fees or would like to set up direct debit or Centrepay payments, please contact Ann Westmore or Deanne Edwards - accounts@scc.tas.edu.au.

Consent2Go (Repeat)

The Consent2Go Parent App is an important tool for parents to manage and update their child’s medical information and approve excursions. Parents are encouraged to download the Consent2Go App from the Apple or Play Store. See the document below for more information.

Primary Assemblies (Repeat)

Assemblies will be held weekly on a Tuesday afternoon at 2:30pm. Parents are welcome to attend.

SCC Bus Bookings for 2024 (Repeat) 

Please email Ann Westmore to advise of the days you would like your child(ren) to catch the SCC bus. Even if there is no change from your 2023 booking agreement. Thank you.

Late Arrivals (Repeat)

Please remind your children that those who arrive late must sign in at the office.

Please ensure that your children arrive before 8:45am to prevent disruption at the start of the day.

Collecting your Child for an Appointment (Repeat)

If you need to collect your child for an appointment during school hours, please notify your child's teacher via email or handwritten note, and the College office - admin@scc.tas.edu.au - so that we can have your child ready for collection from the office where you will need to sign them out. Please avoid recess and lunch time collections for ease of locating your child.
