The Old Boys Careers Information Evening will take place on Monday 18 March from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Students will need to arrive at the College by just before 7:00 PM and stand outside the classroom where their first presentation will be held.
All students have been provided with details of the three presentations they will be attending on the evening. If any student has not received this information due to absences, they need to email Ms Cupac or refer to the list on her office door.
In the Know with Careers
This week’s edition of In the Know with Careers, includes information on the following:
- University of Sydney (USYD) – Register to information webinars on USYD entry schemes and admission pathways, studying Law and the new Environmental Engineering course.
- Australian National University (ANU) – Stage 1 applications for the prestigious Tuckwell Scholarship open on 7 March and closes on 8 April.
- Australian Catholic University (ACU) – Register to webinars to hear from ACU graduates who studied Education, Law, Cybersecurity and Health Sciences.
- UCAT and Medicine – Registration for the UCAT is now open and will close on 17 May. Year 12 students aspiring to pursue Medicine must take the exam between 1 July - 9 August.
- TAFE – How to get an electrical apprenticeship.
- Cadetships – Apply for a cadetship with leading companies in the Financial Services Industry.
- Police Force – The application process required to join the NSW Police Force or the Australian Federal Police.
- Careers – Explore what it takes to become an Accountant, Business Analyst, and Finance Broker, and find out about Mathematics careers in Science and the Environment.
