ENPS Harmony Tree Hearts

Reminder to families - please return your completed Family Heart home task to school by Monday 18th March!

ENPS Harmony Tree

As an inclusive school community we are creating an ENPS Harmony Tree in celebration of Cultural Diversity Week (18th - 24th March). To recognise and include our families in this celebration, we designed a small heart template family task for you to do together. Please return your completed hearts to school so that we can create our whole school display depicting what it means to belong at ENPS!

Attached below is a copy of the heart template. Hearts will need to be returned to the class teacher by Monday 18th March.

This collaborative task will be displayed and showcased as an indication of the strength from diversity of our ENPS community. Hearts will be cut out and laminated at school. Your heart design is up to your family. We encourage you to do it together as a family (siblings can create one for the family or one each).  Please only use the heart template provided (and only on one side) to  represent your family.

Some hints and tips:

  • Please include your family name.
  • It can be colour or black and white.
  • If you use photos, please have them printed on plain paper (not photo paper) so that it can still be laminated.
  • Please stay within the heart template.
  • Draw a family or cultural tradition
  • Decorate with designs.

Below are two beautiful examples of returned hearts from ENPS families:

We look forward to receiving more hearts next week and creating our Harmony Tree. Let's share our similarities and celebrate our differences!
