Year Six
Gala Day Reflections!
Softball
Over the past two weeks of Gala Day the Year Sixes have participated, one of the teams is softball. The softball team has been improving second by second every time we get on court. Each one of us in the softball team has been having so much fun, and all of us have been very nice and we always support the other teams even though we might be losing. Our opinion of the softball Gala Day was a success. Even though we didn’t win every single game, we tried our best and that is what matters.

Volleyball
Over the last two weeks, the Year Sixes have been participating in Gala Day Sports every Friday. For volleyball, the mixed and the girls team had so much fun participating with other schools. Excitement filled the air, as both teams put in so much effort, with the mixed team winning seven out of nine games and the girls team winning six out of nine games with one tie. The volleyball teams put in so much effort, training before school and during lunchtimes. Congratulations to the other teams as well for two exceptional Gala Days!!

Cricket
During the last two weeks, the Year Six pupils participated in many sports. One of those, was cricket. The matches were very tense and exciting, with each move deciding the outcome. No one knew who would win, keeping many players on edge. The other schools were very amazing in their own way, and everyone was supportive of each other. In my personal opinion, the day was a success.

Tennis
Over the past two weeks, Year Sixes have been participating in Gala Day Sports every Friday. Tennis was an immediate success, as both teams of tennis agreed the experience was phenomenal. The teams one and two were both one and two on the ladder. Overall, the experience was one in a lifetime, and Year Six was very privileged to have it.
