School Library News

It's great to see so much borrowing and reading happening in the library.  Please encourage your child to return their book as soon as they have finished reading it.  They don't have to wait until their next library day to do so - they simple pop the book in the library tub in their classroom and it will be returned by the library monitors.  We aim to have all books back on the shelves as soon as possible ready for the next avid reader.

The Victorian Premier's Reading Challenge started on March 1.  All students at St. Louis have been enrolled and will be given their passwords as soon as possible.  When their class comes to library next week we will explain the process and encourage them to participate.

Prep-2 are encouraged to read 30 books over the next few months - 20 from the challenge list and 10 of their own choosing.

3-6 are encouraged to read 20 books - 15 from the challenge list and 15 of their own choosing.

We encourage as many as possible to participate in this great program to assist their reading, knowledge but most of all to just enjoy reading!
