Hi all

SWIMMING

The St Louis de Montfort's swim team travelled to the Forest Pines Aquatic Centre on Friday to compete in the Chelsea District Swimming Carnival.  It was great to see the students strut their stuff in an olympic sized pool.  We had many top three finishers.  Only the first place getters qualify for the next level.  Congratulations to Tafi, Lucy, Sam, Cooper, the girl's 11 Year Old relay team, the 12 Year Old boys relay team and the open boy's medley team for making it through to the Kingston Division carnival to be held Tuesday 12th March.

Thank you to George and Deb for keeping the swimmers up and about and ready to go when their call up arrived.  Thank you to the parents and extended families who came down to cheer on the group.  The kids love swimming amongst the yelling and atmosphere you create.  

Good results come from good training.  Thank you for the networking our families did to get the students to the training sessions the school provided.   The improvement they showed over the month was evident and we look forward to seeing them back in late November.  

FUTSOL

Our Year 5s (Mondays) and Year 6s (Tuesdays) have started a lunch time futsal season.  The spirit leaders created equal teams, invented the names, manage the set up and organise the 6-a-side soccer games.  We have around 80 players playing each week already.
