Learmonth House Service
Congratulations to Learmonth House students, Mrs Bell and Ms Brabham on their excellent House Service on Monday morning. The theme of optimism was very well presented via prayers, songs and presentations from all Learmonthians, Prep to Year Six. It was great to see many parents and grandparents in attendance.
Learmonth will hold a fundraiser on Wednesday in support of Daffodil Day. Students may wear casual clothes incorporating a touch of yellow. Zooper Doopers will be on sale for $1.00 with all proceeds going towards cancer research and awareness.
Father's Day Breakfast/Footy Colours/Magic of Myrniong
Tomorrow we will welcome dads and special people from the ELC and Junior School for our Father’s Day breakfast from 8.15am. We encourage all dads to wear their favourite football team’s colours.
The students will be celebrating ‘Footy Colours Day’ by wearing their colours and bringing a gold coin donation. We will be supporting the Fight Cancer Foundation. Money raised across Australia helps fund education programs, enabling children with cancer to continue their schooling during treatment. We will also welcome students joining our classes for the Magic of Myrniong day. We look forward to a great day.

Hockey Finals
Under 10 College Falcons played Coleraine Maroon in the Elimination Final on Saturday at a cold and wet Pedrina Park. The match ebbed and flowed, with College coming from a goal down to equalise through Charlie Wall. The 1-1 draw meant College were eliminated, as Coleraine Maroon finished the regular season 3rd on the table, and College Falcons 4th. Well done to the players, coaches Will Cameron and Oscar Hawthorne, and managers Phoebe Stewart and Kate Wall on a successful 2025 season.
Under 13 College Eagles defeated Coleraine Gold in the Preliminary Final 2-1. Max Cameron scored both goals. It was hard to pick any one standout performance, as all 14 Eagles players greatly contributed to the win. College Eagles move to the Grand Final on Saturday, 13 September.
