The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a voluntary self-development program available to all young people. Offered at Kinross Wolaroi School, it encourages students to set and achieve personal goals that align with their abilities and aspirations.
The program consists of three levels—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—each comprising four key sections: Physical Recreation, Skills, Voluntary Service, and an Adventurous Journey.
We extend our congratulations to the following students for their recent accomplishments in the program:

SIEP 2026 was launched on Monday 15 September, with the Info Night for Year 9 students and their parents. Interested students are now invited to email their EOI to Ms Courtney Noack cnoack@kws.nsw.edu.au
The student's nominated (1st contact) parent will then receive an EdSmart application form to be filled in by the student and the parent together and submitted by the nominated parent. Students cannot submit this form.
The due date for SIEP 2026 applications is Monday 3rd November (Monday of Week 3).
Late applications will not be considered.
The timeline is as follows:
Week 3: Shortlisting for interviews
Weeks 4-5: Interviews
End of Week 6: Successful applicants announced
Week 7-8: Offers made and assignment of placements started
