SCHOOL COUNCIL - WORKING BEE -THANK YOU
On behalf of the Environment Committee and the wider school community, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and put in some serious hard yakka at Saturday’s school working bee. The amount we achieved together was truly impressive, and I’m incredibly grateful for the dedication and effort shown by all involved in supporting HPS.
A special thanks goes to Matt Dawes for his expertise and generosity in providing the mini excavator, which significantly reduced the need for shovelling and saved many backs in the process. Thank you also to Bonnie Morrison for organising the coffee cart – perfectly timed after a rain shower, it gave us all a much-needed boost to keep going. Xavier Lawrence and Kate Hickey for cooking and running the lunch program – just what we needed after completing all the piles of material. Our principal, Robbie, for not only providing smoko and lunch on behalf of the school but also ensuring everyone’s safety throughout the day. And to all the families who brought along sweet treats to enjoy with our coffee – your kindness was greatly appreciated.
It was a fantastic team effort, and it was amazing to see how much we can accomplish when we come together as a community.
Thank you again.

Fathers Day
A big thank you to our Parent’s Club and all their amazing community volunteers who put together such a fantastic stall for our students! It was great to see them enjoy shopping independently for the dads and father figures in their lives.
We really appreciate all the time and effort you give — it helps make Highton Primary School such a special community.
