Prep 2026 / Parent Evening - 6pm
Next Tuesday 14th October, we welcome our 2026 Preps into our school for the family information night. We are looking forward to making them part of our school community and showing them how amazing St Andrew's is.
Term 4 - No Hat - No Play
Summer School Uniform
We inform parents that children can make the transition to summer uniform now we are in warmer weather.
Sunsmart Policy
Our Sunsmart Policy requires all of our students to wear their St. Andrew's school hat in term 4. We expect all children to have and wear their school hat. Wearing the school hat is not only compulsory during recess and lunchtime, but also before/after school and during Physical Education lessons, sport and other outdoor training sessions.
As a SunSmart registered school all children will have access to Sunscreen.
Zooper Dooper Friday
With Term 4 warming up we welcome back our Friday Zooper Dooper sales!
Children are invited to bring $1.00 to school to purchase a Zooper Dooper on a Friday.
We thank our Year 6 children for volunteering their time to support the sales of the Zooper Doopers. All profits raised from the sales will go to our Kadasig fundraising efforts.
Zooper Dooper Fridays will start on Friday 10th October.
Term 4 Working Bee - Saturday 18th October
Our next Working Bee will be held on Saturday 18th October commencing at 8.30am till 10.30am.
An Operoo form will be sent to all families soon.
We encourage parents with wheelbarrows, shovels, brooms, rakes etc to bring them along for the morning.
We will advise families via the Skoolbag App early Saturday morning if there is a need to cancel the Working Bee due to wet weather.

School Hours
Our school day begins at 8:45 a.m. By this time, all students should be in their Classrooms, ready for the day.
Our school day finishes at 3.15pm and all students are expected to be collected by 3.30pm.
If this is not possible, you will need to make alternative arrangements, such as the OSHC program run by Youth Leadership Victoria.
Children should not be left unsupervised on school grounds.

Lost Property
Please check the lost property bin if you are missing any items.
Our lost property is stored in the blue wheelie bin.
It is helpful to mark your child/ren's item of clothing clearly to ensure a quick return.

Dates for the 2025 Year - Closure Days
Parents/carers please note the School Closure dates set for the 2025 school calendar.
There are 4 days set aside for staff professional development and first aid training. There are additional 2 days as set aside for staff Time in Lieu Days (TIL) who are working outside of their expected work hours. TIL days were introduced as a component of the new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement in 2022.
