Temporary Closure of Trinity Avenue

Upcoming School Holidays

Please be advised that the contractor working on the Waterbank site has informed us of a partial road closure on Trinity Avenue during the upcoming school holidays.

From Tuesday 30 September to Friday 10 October, the Causeway side of Trinity Avenue will be closed to traffic from 7:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays.

  • Access to the College will remain unaffected.

  • Vehicles exiting the College during these hours will need to use the internal road adjacent to Mann Oval, leaving via the Katich Pavilion exit.

Traffic management measures, including signage and safety cones, will be in place to guide drivers and ensure safety. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period.

Auxiliary News

What a wonderful Auxiliary Morning Tea last Friday – another opportunity for over 150 guests to share as a community, and hear from a panel of past and current parents about their experience of the TC community throughout their sons' journey.

Our heartfelt thanks to Mrs Nicola Gosatti, Mrs Gabrielle Murphy, and Mrs Hayley McDonnell for their generosity and enthusiasm. The take home message for all was to start small - say hello to someone in the pick-up area, sporting ground, assembly and contribute where you can.

With contributing front of mind, the Auxiliary committee are looking for volunteers to join us in the new year - and we welcome all offers! Our next meeting is our Annual General Meeting, which will take place at 8.30am on Monday 14 October in the TC Boardroom, (Level 3, Cultural Centre). If you would like to participate in the committee or just come along and find out what we do, we would love to have you. If you have any queries, please feel free to contact me!

Enrolment Fees

In seeking to fulfil a ‘Spirit of Stewardship’ in effectively managing school resources, the College continually examines all aspects of fees, funding, charges and expenses. In such a large school this is an ongoing challenge.  As part of this ongoing analysis, comparisons to like schools are also considered. After many years of no adjustment, the College has decided to adjust the Enrolment Fees for incoming students.

The Enrolment Fees for students where the fee is paid on or after 1 January 2026 will change as follows:

  • From 1 January 2026 the Enrolment Fee will increase to $3,000.  This will include TOBA Membership.  For students currently at the College and those who have paid the Enrolment Fee prior to 1 January 2026, the TOBA Membership fee has been and will continue to be charged in Year 12.

  • There will no longer be a sibling discount applied to the Enrolment Fee, i.e. the Enrolment Fee for all students (including siblings) will be $3,000.

As previously stated, the College is making these adjustments subsequent to a comparison with other similar schools and after consideration of the impact on parents.  It should be noted that the College’s Enrolment Fees for a first child enrolled, and siblings is considerably lower than most PSA schools.

Parents of children currently at the College who want to pay the current Enrolment Fee for siblings at the current fee (for siblings) of $1,315 will need to complete the enrolment form and pay the required fee before the end of this year.  Parents wanting to do this should email the College’s Registrar registrar@ trinity.wa.edu.au requesting the Enrolment Form.

The offer of enrolling siblings in this manner is subject to a successful interview process after payment of the Enrolment Fee.  As such, the College reserves the right to reject the application and refund the fee should it be considered that the student is best not enrolled at the College.

College-Provided Laptop Program

Launch in 2026

As we seek to actively support excellence in student learning, digital wellbeing and equity, the College will commence transitioning to a College-Provided Laptop Program from the start of the 2026 academic year. Initially, this will be aimed at those students commencing secondary school in Year 7, and for those students progressing into Year 10. This initiative will then be extended to incoming cohorts in 2027 and 2028, with students receiving a new device in Year 7 and, as part of a three-year rolling cycle, a new replacement device in Year 10. This progressive roll-out will mean that by 2028 all secondary students will have a College-Provided Laptop. A three-year cycle of replacing Laptops is considered optimal for device performance and mirrors education and industry practice.

The laptop cost will be included as a separate fee and be spread, generally, over three years.

Other year groups will be able to be included in the initial roll out if parents have concerns about the performance of their son’s laptop.

An email has been sent to parents of students in each year group explaining the background to this change and what it means for that year group.  Please ensure that you read this closely. The links to these Year Cohort letters are also below.

QCE Awards

We have entered our Year 4 and TCEC group into the CEWA QCE Awards this year for the 'Small Tabs, Big Impact' project the boys have dedicated themselves to this year.

We’d need your vote! Don’t forget to share the link with your families, friends, and students because they can vote too for the People’s Choice Award. Every vote helps celebrate the dedication and hard work of our students!
