Season of Creation 2025
From September 1 to October 4, Christians around the world join together in prayer and action to care for our common home. The Season of Creation is a time to celebrate God as Creator and to recognise that we are part of all that God has made. Our wellbeing is closely linked with the wellbeing of the earth and every living creature.
This year’s theme is “Peace with Creation.” As a community, we are invited to reflect on how we can live in harmony with God’s world and take steps to protect and nurture the gift of creation.

Receiving a sacrament is a special moment in the journey of faith, marking a deeper step in a child’s relationship with God and the Catholic community. The sacraments remind us of the importance of community, as we gather to celebrate and support one another in faith.
Eucharist (Holy Communion) is the heart of our Catholic faith. In receiving Holy Communion, we are united with Jesus Christ in a profound and personal way - He truly becomes part of us.
Confirmation is when a baptised child confirms their Christian faith as their own. Through the anointing with the oil of chrism, they are sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit and sent forth to be witnesses of God’s love in the world.
