Application deadlines
Early bird applications closing – 30ᵗʰ September
Students who are yet to submit their UAC application should aim to do so before early bird applications close at 11:59 pm on Tuesday, 30ᵗʰ September. After this date, UAC’s processing charge increases significantly.
SRS preferences deadline – 6ᵗʰ November
- Applicants must finalise their course preferences for the first SRS offer round by 11:59 pm on Thursday, 6ᵗʰ November. The first SRS offers will be released on Thursday 13ᵗʰ November.
Educational Access Scheme documents – 18ᵗʰ November
The Educational Access Scheme (EAS) can help students who have experienced educational challenges receive a uni offer. Check our website for circumstances students can claim under EAS and required documents. Year 12 students applying for EAS will need to submit their EAS application and documents by Tuesday 18ᵗʰ November for the application to be considered for December Round 2 (23ʳᵈ December), the main ATAR-based offer round.
Tips for students: UAC course preferences
Undergraduate applicants can select up to 5 course preferences when they apply for uni through UAC.

Pathways to degrees
When students feel that the degree they are keen on is out of reach, it's a good opportunity to remind them that institutions offer a variety of pathways – such as diplomas, foundation studies and certificates – to help them transition to uni and reach their goals.
