Prayer For Hope

The Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga Day in the Diocese was held on Friday 5ᵗʰ September 2025. Our students and staff came together to celebrate the Jubilee Year’s theme: Pilgrims of Hope. We participated in a range of activities, including Eucharistic adoration, living out hope in life workshop, music ministry, Carlo Acutis Exhibition and culminating with a thanksgiving Mass at St Michael’s Cathedral celebrated by Bishop Mark Edwards OMI.
As pilgrims, we walked together as a community, along with all the catholic schools in the Wagga Wagga diocese, our intention being the hopes of a brighter tomorrow. The Jubilee Year reminds us of the power of hope and the importance of staying true to our faith, while embracing the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. The theological virtue of hope is the power by which we desire the Kingdom of Heaven as our happiness, placing our trust in Christ's promises and relying not on our own strength, but on the grace of the Holy Spirit. Jesus will give us the graces that we need for the journey to Heaven.
