Celebrating Learning

As leaves drift down and the skies turn grey,

We gather our stories from work and play.

With numbers and letters and dreams to share,

Autumn has wrapped us in magical care.

As the crisp air settles in and autumn paints the mornings with gentle gold, we’ve been busy listening closely — not just to the rustling leaves, but to the sounds that letters make! Our ears have been tuning in to the music of vowels, stretching and skipping through their many moods and melodies and learning how to write their many formations.

In the magical Number Queendom, Queen Infinity has welcomed us warmly. With her fairy children — Una, Decie, and Centie — we’ve been counting, ordering, and wondering at the world of big and small numbers. Each fairy brings a special kind of number magic (place value), helping us to see patterns and possibilities with jewels raining from the sky.

Out in the garden, under skies of soft grey and golden light, our adventures continue. We’ve discovered curious creepy crawlies tucked in secret places — tiny treasures of the season that remind us how much there is to explore.
