SPOTLIGHT ON THE CLASSROOMS

AUTHOR VISIT - NAT AMOORE

The Narrabri Lions Auxiliary has provided "Bookworm Bags" to Kindergarten children from 14 schools across our Shire each year for the past 20 years. To celebrate this milestone, during Week 11, our students were invited to join together as a community to meet and listen to Australian Children's Author, Nat Amoore as she shared her passion for reading and writing with the children. As part of this visit, Nat was able to promote her latest book, "Shower Time" with the children.

Nat Amoore certainly delivered a high-energy and humorous presentation to inspire young minds to think creatively and embrace the power of imagination. Feedback from the Narrabri Lions Auxiliary has highlighted a positive response to this experience. The committee will work towards making this an annual event for our children.

A huge thank you to this committee for providing such a wonderful literacy experience for our children!

EASTER HAT PARADE

During Week 11, we invited our families to join us in celebrating Easter with an Easter Hat Parade.

Thank you to our families for taking the time to create the amazing hats with your children that were on display at our Easter Hat Parade. It was great to see the sheer joy on the children's faces as they paraded proudly around the cola.

WELCOME MISS HAMILTON

We welcome Miss Jade Hamilton, who is replacing Mrs Herden during weeks 1-6 of this term. Jade has been working at St Francis Xavier's throughout Term 1. We know that she will be a valuable member of our team over the coming weeks.
