Election Day BBQ & Stall

Election Day Sausage Sizzle & Cake Stall

With the Federal election scheduled for Saturday 3 May and the FPS gym a polling centre, it’s time to pull out our gas bottles and fire up the BBQs to sizzle ‘democracy sausages’ and serve sweet treats to the voting community.

Help on the Day

If you can spare some time to turn sausages and dispense tomato sauce, sell baked goods, and take payment, we'd love to have your help!

  • Volunteers needed from 8am – 3pm (unless sold out)
  • If you can spare an hour (or more!) please sign up.
  • BYO apron!

Love Baking? Support the Baked Goods Stall

If turning sausages isn’t your thing, but you’re a wizard with biscuits, cupcakes, or brownies, we’d love you to bake for us. There are a few baking requirements:

  • No nuts
  • No cream or uncooked eggs as refrigeration is not available.

Baking Ideas & Packaging

Our preference is for items that can be sold individually – cupcakes, biscuits, slices (cut into sections), brownies, etc. Please package your baked goods it in a named Tupperware container including your child’s class/teacher, which will be returned to you post-event.

Labels and Drop Off

All baked goods need to be labelled – with the name of the item (front) and the ingredients (back). If your baked goods are dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan, etc., please list that too.

Please deliver your baked goods to the stall on election day, between 8 – 9am.
