Green Team

The Green Team is running two fundraisers this month. We have our bottle and can collection to raise money for our sustainability projects, and and we are raising money through Grill’d Moonee Ponds with Local Matters tokens!

Bottle and Can Collection

Bastien (5JM) and Amara (5RZ) with 100 donated bottles and cans!
Bastien (5JM) and Amara (5RZ) with 100 donated bottles and cans!

How it works:

🌱 Collect bottles and cans at home - look for the 10c refund label to check if they’re eligible.

🌱 Bring them to school in a box or bag and give them to your Classroom Green Team Leader, who will then pass them on to a Green Team Teacher’s classroom (6JD, 6MP, 6AI, 5AJ, 4IW, 1MH and FHM).

🌱 Earn & Grow -  The money we raise will go towards buying and propagating plants for classrooms, as well as other green team projects for the year.

Your support will help make our school greener and more sustainable.

A few tips:

  • Don't crush your containers or the machine may not accept them.

  • Lids can be left on.

  • Make sure you always store glass safely.

  • Beware of sharp edges on cans.

  • We will not be accepting alcohol containers at school.

  • Make sure to check for the 10 cent mark.

Local Matters Tokens

If you like burgers, chips and raising money to help our Green Team then you are in luck! We have a chance to win up to $300 through the Local Matters Tokens.

Go out and eat takeaway as much as you can, it will literally benefit the school!

Visit Grill’d at Moonee Ponds on Puckle Street and put your token into the ENPS Green Team jar.

Funds will go towards new plants for each classroom.

Tell your friends and family, spread the word to help us win! The more people you tell, the better chance we have.

Thank you for your support and have a sustainable week.
