Performing Arts

Hi Everyone! 

Woah! It’s great to be back in the Performing Arts space after a few weeks' break. We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter break!

We are so excited for the term ahead. It’s a BIG one for us as there’s a range of different topics being explored. Please see below for a brief description of each year level.

Foundation

Foundation students will be linking in with the classroom unit of inquiry throughout Term Two to investigate the central idea, ‘Senses help us explore the world’.

Year One and Two

It’s all about Music for the Year Ones and Twos this term! Students will be investigating the central idea, ‘We can discover and express ideas through using our voices and musical instruments’.

Year Three and Four

The Year Threes and Fours will be focusing on Movement and Dance as a medium for storytelling this term. Students will be investigating the central idea, ‘We can use our expressive skills to communicate stories to an audience’.

Year Five and Six

The Year Fives and Sixes will be focusing on 21st Century Dance Video Clips. Students will be investigating the central idea, ‘We can use our expressive skills to communicate ideas and intentions to an audience’.
