Thursday 22nd May

Walk to School Safely Day
Walk to School Safely Week is from 19th – 23rd May. This is a very important message for all our young students about safely walking to school. We are lucky to have our local police, Mixx FM and Colac Woolworths supporting the event. Throughout the week, the police, Mixx FM and Colac Woolworths have allocated local schools a day each where they will help with walking the students to school.
Our allocated day is Thursday 22nd May and students will walk from Colac Secondary School Bus Depot. Students who travel by bus have the opportunity to walk with Sacred Heart staff to school. The offer is also there for all students, who would like to walk to school. Parents may drop their children off at the Colac Secondary School bus depot from 8:00am – 8:20am.
Another option is that parents walk their students to school. You may park your car a street/ or two away from school and walk with your child/children and teach them the valuable lesson of crossing roads, looking out for cars etc. We are all in this together.
SURVEY for students walking from Colac Secondary College
There has has been a survey put on PAM only for those students walking from Colac Secondary School Bus Depot. Could parents complete as soon as possible?
Note: after completing the survey if your child is not able to participate, please contact the school between 8:00am and 8:20am on the morning of Thursday 22nd May , so staff are not waiting for them at the college. Ph: 52 315292
