Learning Reflection

We have been learning the extended code in our Sounds Write phonics program. The /ae/sound can have many different spellings. Here are some of the examples of the different spellings that the /ae/ sound has. We know that the /ay/ spelling is always at the end of a word and the /ai/ spelling is in the middle of a word. 

Happy Mother's Day to all our special mums! We loved making our mum a special card and writing all the reasons why our mum is wonderful!

Our students enjoying some special time in the library. It's wonderful to see their curiosity and love of reading growing each day. 

We have been exploring the Zones of Regulation, and the students have worked hard to create a personalised book with strategies that help them manage their emotions. This tool not only supports their self-regulation but also helps them to become great learners by recognising and using strategies that work best for them.
