Parent Wellbeing Survey – What We Heard
Thank you to the many CJC families who recently completed our Parent Wellbeing Survey.
With almost 100 responses, the feedback has provided us with valuable insights that will help guide our wellbeing work across 2026.
Two clear themes emerged from the survey:
61.6% of parents highlighted concerns around emotional regulation and managing big feelings
49.5% of parents identified building resilience and confidence as an area they would like further support with
Based on this feedback, we will be taking several steps to support families in these areas.
Sharing Resources:Throughout the year, we will begin sharing articles, podcasts and practical strategies through our newsletters and social channels focused on emotional regulation and building resilience in children.
Parent Wellbeing Resource Hub:During Term 2, we will develop a Parent Wellbeing Resource Hub on our school website. This space will provide families with a directory of trusted services, resources and support pathways for mental health and wellbeing.
Parent Information Sessions:We are also working closely with Caulfield Community Health Services to organise parent information sessions focused on emotional regulation, managing big feelings and building resilience in children. Further details will be shared soon.
This work forms part of our Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHiPS) initiative, which aims to strengthen how we support the mental health and wellbeing of students, staff and families across our school community.
Thank you again for your valuable input. Your feedback helps ensure the work we do continues to reflect the needs of our community.
