Mothers Day Lunch 

What a wonderful day we had celebrating St Mary’s mum and mother-figures at the 18th Mothers Day Lunch.  

In the flower-field school hall, 180 mums enjoyed a special day of fun and food together. The much loved prep performance, this year of Taylor Swift’s “The Best Day”, and floral presentation to those year 6 mums enjoying their last Mothers Day Lunch are highlights that bring tears to many eyes. There were some laughs with both the lucky door prize draw and heads and tails, thanks to Mrs Hodgets for the fun lessons.

A huge thanks to everyone who participated in the day and a special thanks to the many who contribute to the planning, set up and running of such a wonderful event. 

The G@S committee would like to thank Mr Johnston and Mrs Hodgetts for their support, our major suppliers and supporters: Happy Apple Catering, Jellis Craig (Inner North West), Nelson Alexander Kensington, Sweet Samantha, Twinings & Jarrah and Ascot Vale Pharmacy. A huge thanks also goes to everyone who generously contributed to an outstanding pool of prizes.  

We will report back on funds raised for the school  from this and other G@S events later in the year.
