What’s happening in our French classrooms?

Our Year 7 students have been working hard getting ready for their written CATs by writing sentences and descriptions of images from the story Les Trois Petits Cochons. Activities included creativity illustrating some “phrases bizarres” in their online booklets. Here are a few samples:

Our Unit 3 VCE students have been preparing for their last SAC, a writing on cultural heritage, by becoming specialists of a specific French speaking site protected by the UNESCO. They will share their knowledge in a personal or informative writing piece. It will be interesting to read about their site of choice!

Education Perfect Worldwide Languages Competition

From the 7th to the 14th May, the Education Perfect Worldwide Languages Competition  took place and all our students completed many tasks to improve their vocabulary and get points! AHS was ranked 216th out of 2032 competing schools in the world and 179th overall in Australia out of 1315 schools!
